I lost over 100 pounds and found a new calling.

After an incredible chapter in Behavioral Health, I am excited to announce the launch of Haven Health. I am now building a clinical-first medical aesthetics business in the Northern or Central Virginia region.

For those who may not be familiar, medical aesthetics includes evidence-based treatments such as skin rejuvenation, tightening, and non-invasive procedures that help people restore, look refreshed, and feel confident in their own skin. It is about more than beauty. These treatments can support confidence, recovery, and resilience.

This pivot is deeply personal. After years of struggling with weight while raising two kids, I learned my challenges were not about willpower but biology. With the help of a GLP-1 medication, I finally had the tool my body needed. It was life changing. I lost over 100 pounds, came off blood pressure medication, improved my overall health, and gained a new perspective on confidence, skin health, and aging. I cautiously share this openly, in the hope that it inspires others and helps reduce stigma around these treatments and experiences.

I have experienced how transformative medical aesthetics can. After my weight loss, I noticed changes that left me feeling not quite like myself. With the right treatments, I began to feel refreshed, restored, and confident again. Millions of people navigating weight loss, cancer treatment, or aging want the same, natural, empowering results they can trust. This is where I see tremendous opportunity to raise awareness, reduce stigma, build, and serve.

As a licensed clinical social worker, my mission has been helping people on the inside. Now, as an entrepreneur, I am passionate about creating businesses that also help people feel confident on the outside while fostering connection, belonging, and empowerment.

If you are in this space, whether as an owner, operator, or fellow entrepreneur, I would love to connect and exchange ideas. Stay tuned as I take the next steps toward building my first location that makes medical aesthetics approachable, empowering, and accessible. 🚀
